PHP & snmprealwalk()

Post by Ateo »

Hi. I just have questions about the fucntionality of some php functions. I checked out the php site but it didn't come anywhere close to answering my questios.

Anyways...

Does the function snmprealwalk take the OID block and poll the host to receive the entire block in one shot?

OR

Does the function take individual OIDs, polling the host one at a time, or each and every OID?

I've tried the function myself but I'm still weary about the answer.

Also, what argument is actually sent to the snmphost? I'm guessing if it does individual polls, it's a -g <OID>.

Thanks
