Post by thavinci »

I get following trying to downgrade:

Error

Invalid Cacti version 0.8.7b, cannot upgrade to 0.8.6j

How can i downgrade? The new version has far to many issues that prevent me from using it.

Thank You!

Go back to your last Database and Web site backup. If you have not performed one, start over. Sorry, if you are not backing up your system, I can not help you.

Probably this will help anyone who is trying to downgrade cacti

I just did a downgrade without any backup previously saved by going over the database in the version table, modify the current value to an older version than the one you are trying to downgrade, for example I wanted to downgrade to 0.8.7d and just changed the value to 0.8.7c.

Cacti will think it is an upgrade from 0.8.7c to 0.8.7d, follow the steps and you are done

Everything went fine and my graphs are working as they should!!!

Greetings
