error creating graph

Post by chrisduplateau »

Hello,
I have a problem creating graph, everything seems OK but the .rrd file si no created, so my graph is empty.
I tried to see the debug log file, I saw:
09/25/2008 03:48:06 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: /usr/bin/rrdtool create /usr/share/cacti/site/rra/2hfr-v-crmfr_load_1min_670.rrd --step 60 DS:load_1min:GAUGE:120:0:500 DS:load_5min:GAUGE:120:0:500 DS:load_15min:GAUGE:120:0:500 RRA::0.5:1:500 RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:500 RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:600 RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:6:700 RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:24:775 RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:288:797 RRA:MAX:0.5:1:500 RRA:MAX:0.5:1:600 RRA:MAX:0.5:6:700 RRA:MAX:0.5:24:775 RRA:MAX:0.5:288:797

So I tried to create it directly on my server (debian 4.0) but I've got this error:
ERROR: Unrecognized consolidation function

I can nevetheless create graphs and see them, perhaps it comes from templates ?

Thank you to help me.

This one is in error. Please post a screenshot of the data template used for this rrd file and a screenshot of "Data Sources -> RRAs"

I found the problem, I had no MIN, MAX or AVERAGE selected in the Datas Sources --> RRA --> Hourly (1 Minute Average) , I fixed it and my graphs appeared, thank you for you answer, I was looking for right permission or rrdtool version, updating linux packages...
