Poller Error

Post by Work_Cacti »

Hi,

I was trying to run the poller from the DOs prompt but it gave me en error saying

POLLER: Poller[0] WARNING: Cron is out of sync with the Poller Interval! The Poller Interval is '300' seconds, with a maximum of a '300' second Cron, but 50000 seconds have passed since the last poll!

I found a way around this in one of the forums which said to use the

--Force

command..

Now it doesnt seem to be giving me the same error infact it doesnt give me any thing.

Now when I try to scehudle the service on a daily 5 mins basis the service doesnt start and doesnt even give me any error

Does any one have any idea what possibly could be going wrong.

Thanks!

Is the password on the account that runs the poller correct ?

Have you specified the correct path ?

What happens if you run the command from the scheduled task directly from a command prompt - does it work ? Also test this logged in as the poller account.
