Page cannot be found

Post by astlaurent »

Hello All,

I just installed Cacti using the beta installer and i am not getting the page cannot be found. I believe this is an issue with php since IIS is working otherwise and it wont even read a test.php page. I checked isapi filters and extensions and they appear to be up. Any thoughts or ideas

Thanks

Have another read through BSOD2600's documentation. I doubt very much it's an error on the installer side.

Check out your IIS settings - my guess is that you've missed something.
Cacti Version 0.8.8b
Cacti OS Ubuntu LTS
RRDTool Version RRDTool 1.4.7
Poller Information
Type SPINE 0.8.8b

I read through all the documentation, i needed to add the ISAPI filter to the web extensions. I dont believe i saw that in the documentation.

Which installer did you use?
Did you disable your antivirus before launching the installer? (what AV do you use?)

Anyways, sounds like the installer did not run some of its VBS scripts which would've configured PHP in IIS like it was required. This is why the post-installation steps have the end-user validate PHP in IIS.
