Problem with update cacti

Post by longuele »

Hello everyone!

I can not update my server cacti (0.8.6a to 0.8.6b). On my server in addition to cacti I also plugins including wheathermap.
When I am the official procedure for updating cacti, given by this link http://www.cacti.net/downloads/docs/htm ... ndows.html, at the end I have no graph, instead of the cross as if the location of the picture was not found. I've also tabs corresponding to my plugins.

I ask myself the question is what updating cacti involves the resettlement of plugins (architecture, wheathermap, etc. ...)?

otherwise what other files to be copied into the new facility to which I have also the plug.

If we need to reinstall the plug is that it will not cause the loss of my data?

You have a link me to propose that it is updating its ties with cacti?

Please help me

1) you should use this guide for updating cacti: http://www.cacti.net/downloads/docs/html/upgrade.html

2) Once you update cacti, you'll need to install the newer plugin architecture and then re-enable your plugins.

3) All your graph data resides in the *.rrd files. The cacti database merely contains the information about your hosts, templates, etc.
