question on host expansion view

With a previous cacti server we had subcategories under the each of the hosts (total bw, unicast, non-unicast, errors). After a new server install I can't seem to find that option anywhere. I'd have thought it was under config>settings>graph export & turning on "expand tree hosts" but that doesn't seem to have any effect... can someone point me in the right direction?

It's a per user setting:

Graphs/Settings/Tree View Mode/Expand Hosts

And yes, it's been asked a couple of times to make it a global setting, and the reply was 'Fill in a feature request' via the bugtracker - http://bugs.cacti.net
