I understand that the PIA will be integrated into the next release of Cacti.
Will the Settings plug-in be built-in to the PIA?
What about the new features and documentation?
How do we update plug-ins we have written to be compliant?
When will the repository be open?
The "poor man's repository" here:
http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=14985
is becoming cumbersome.
I will be glad to help get the Repository up and running.
It should have integration with the PIA to get full benefit for versioning and updates.

Yes, it's already inN3NCY wrote:I understand that the PIA will be integrated into the next release of Cacti.
YesWill the Settings plug-in be built-in to the PIA?
To be honest, I don't know. I tried to be compliant with AGGREGATE, you may refer to that code. What about the new features and documentation?
How do we update plug-ins we have written to be compliant?
This is not mentioned on the roadmap, because it is not a cacti code issue. This task was assigned internally. When will the repository be open?

Re: Plug-in Architecture Roadmap and documentation
Repository is still in the works. Its a fairly large project, which all the features we are requiring, and not alot of us have a ton of free time.
Current PA Conversion documentation is in the works, but its usually just easier to look at some of the other plugins. The PA is still evolving, so its hard to keep everything up to date.
