I've noticed that there is a newer version of the SYSLOG plugin in SVN (version 6). Having tested this, it seems to be a little unstable - is there going to be a new version released soon ?
Thanks

Curious, what's unstable about it? I haven't tried it, but I was wondering what issues you found.

I found that the syslog incoming table doesn't populate the main syslog table, the list of nodes on the left isn't populated, and the reports function doesn't seem to work properly.
Don't have specific errors to hand at present, as I'm not in the office.
There are some great looking features in the new version - moreover, the text colour works correctly, and a highlight is included (you hover over the syslog message, and it shows you the full detail, which is neat).
The alerts, removals, and reports are now part of the console via a plugin hook. There is also a GUI for the colours with a drop down picker. Config.php no longer handles the colours.
Overall, a massive improvement on the older version.
Jimmy / Larry - any comments please ?
Thanks

I've fixed the non-populating SYSLOG main table error, and the page selectors which were not working either.I have also fixed the list of nodes on the left of the screen, which now shows correctly.
The only thing left now is the colors - background and foreground colours only seem to work on Alert, Info, and Notice. Any other type of Syslog doesn't show the colors. If I use the legacy types in config.php, the background colors work correctly, although the text color doesn't work....
