Post by elias2k5 »

I have a problem last couple of days, when I created a graph for new location . cacti not created a graph for traffic and ping but able to create a graph for cpu. the problem is looks like for some reason unable create a directory.
I got this ERROR for traffic: opening '/opt/cacti-0.8.6c/rra/west_framerelay_traffic_in_2885.rrd': No such file or directory.

error for ping.

ERROR: opening '/opt/cacti-0.8.6c/rra/west_framerelay_max_rtr_ping_2891.rrd': No such file or directory

I am new for cacti, thank you in advance for your help.

Please use "SNMP only" as downed host detection for that device

I have the same problem at the moment, in that an 'interface' graph is not showing, with the same problem of it doesnt seem to generate the rrd for them.

I have a couple of hosts being graphed at the moment, one has SNMP only and one has PING, neither get their interfaces graphed... :(
