calculate the error percentage based on packet rate and error rate?

I currently need to monitor a 1gb link between to Cisco 6513 Cat's and record the error percentage, reason is our ISP guarantees 99.98% packet delivery on this link so we would like to measure is the error rate goes over 0.02% if this is possible.

with the default error/discards the graph does not seem right as we only seems to get 0.018375706215 errors in per second?
