Cacti needs a virtual dir.

Hold are we not suppose to have Cacti in IIS/Apache webroot? or is the cacti suppose to be on the C: and a virtual dir. of Cacti in IIS?

you can have cacti installed in the wwwroot folder. My fault, but I had my situation in mind where I installed cacti to D needing a virtual dir.

Anyway, i meant assigning admin rights to the SITE of cacti (virtual dir or folder under wwwroot :P) According to your pictures it seems like you made somehow a virtual dir to rrdtool? it is the site of cacti you have to assign admin rights

I've now give permissions to the folder

Hey!

I've been through IIS on the Cacti folder properties I cannot see anything for admin rights?

snmp error: on windows nt

HI



I have cacti 0.8.6.c on winxp and other that the same version on fc3. I need monitor windowns nt, but I allways get snmp:error in both servers. I just running cacti and get graph for windows xp, 3com switches and Routers Cisco.

My problem is with my windows Nt server. I have installed my snmp server with my community name. however appear the same error

Can you help me, please?
