Weather Map Guest Access

Post by packet7 »

Is there a way to enable Guest access to Weathermaps? We have guest access enabled for the cacti graphs, this allows us to embed the links into Sharepoint without the users being required to logon. We want to do the same for Weathermaps.

Thanks.

I don't use Guest access on my Cacti, but last time I checked you can give the Guest user 'view weathermaps' permission, then in the Manage Weathermaps page, give 'anyone' permission to view the particular map.

If it doesn't work, that's a bug, but it should.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
