Your system appears to have shut down uncleanly
press y to force file system integrity check
filsystems [failed]
***an error occurred during the file system check
***dropping you to a shell; the system will reboot
***when you leave the shell

after entering the admin password i am presented with this prompt:

repair filesystem 1#

I would try to help ya, but unless I'm sitting at the machine, I don't think I could give you good accurate information as to how to proceed.

I can say that normally when you get to that point, it wants you to run fsck on the drive to repair any errors. You may or may not be able to since the drive is full. You may have to try mounting the drive in that mode you're in and deleting some things that aren't needed and then attempt to run fsck to repair any damage.

There's also a possibility that your drive is just out right failing and may need replaced.
