Create an agregate graph of VMware VM memory

Post by FlorentDeFrance »

Hi, I would like to create a graph who show the usage of memory of an ESXHost.

I would like show Console Memory, VM1 memory, VM2 Memory... with stack (like on the attachment).

I obtain the memory usage values with an snmp query (see snmp_pmtc_vmware_mem.xml), I built a graph for all VM and then I have do another graph like explain in the post http://forums.cacti.net/about4889.html

My probleme is to show vmname on the graph. Anybody has do this?
vmname is indexed an index, and MemoryUsage is indexed with vmID

I'am not sure to be understand because this is not simple to explain in my language so in english....

Someone could help me

Thanks

I'm attempting to do similar reporting for GSX, but we also have an ESX server in our environment.

Are you just using the built-in SNMP from the maintenance console?

What MIB are you using as reference?

Hi fmangeant and all.
Can you give any information how to use the agregate plug in.
Basically what I need to do is agregate all the graphs about specifics VMs that are often moved from one host to another and Cacti can only be pointed to a ESX host not to a VirtualCenter.
So the solution is point it to all ESXs and agregate.

Can someone give any information about how to do this agregations ?

Thanks

Fredy
