How to send email if a link is down in network weathermap

Hello

Can any one tell me, how can I send an email action if a link become down in network weathermap. I have already configured the email action/thresholds in cacti e.g, CPU utilization or memory utilization . But now I want to implement this in Network WeatherMap.
