Display a Value (its that easy.... but i cant seem to do it)

Post by delinquent »

Hi,

I've modified the postfix monitoring script to tally the total number of transport messages (that was the easy part, the results of that are here:

netra-svr:/var/lib/cacti/rra# snmpwalk -v 2c -c public netra-svr .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.255
.....
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdavis.255.11 = INTEGER: 3
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdavis.255.12 = INTEGER: 0
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdavis.255.13 = INTEGER: 0
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdavis.255.14 = INTEGER: 0
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdavis.255.15 = INTEGER: 8
)

I've added a data source for each of the entry's and the part i'm having problems with is I cant seem to get it to display the right value on the graph (graph_result.jpg). Its the same for each so i'll only post a example of 1 of the entries (see attachment itemsetup.jpg)

I'm obviously missing something, i dont want the total value to display on the graph, i only want it as a comment.

Can someone help me?

Many thanks in advance,
Chris
