I've recently installed and tried to configure Cacti 0.85 on a Mandrake 9.2 box. The SNMP functions work correctly, producing their corresponding RRD files and graphs which update at 5 minute intervals.
On the other hand, I can't seem to get any of the network related funtions to work.
Code: Select all
$ su cacti -c "/var/www/html/cacti/cmd.php"
Usage: ping [-LRUbdfnqrvVaA] [-c count] [-i interval] [-w deadline]
[-p pattern] [-s packetsize] [-t ttl] [-I interface or address]
[-M mtu discovery hint] [-S sndbuf]
[ -T timestamp option ] [ -Q tos ] [hop1 ...] destination
command: perl /usr/share/cacti/scripts/scripts/ping.pl, output:
command: perl /usr/share/cacti/scripts/scripts/unix_users.pl, output: 1
MULTI command: perl /usr/share/cacti/scripts/scripts/loadavg_multi.pl, output: 1min:0.37 5min:0.29 10min:0.15
MULTI expansion: found fieldid: 17, found rrdname: load_1min, value: 0.37
MULTI expansion: found fieldid: 18, found rrdname: load_5min, value: 0.29
MULTI expansion: found fieldid: 19, found rrdname: load_15min, value: 0.15
command: perl /usr/share/cacti/scripts/scripts/linux_memory.pl SwapFree:, output: 2629032
command: perl /usr/share/cacti/scripts/scripts/linux_memory.pl MemFree:, output: 4570
Cacti Console/Graph Management and Console/Data Sources show all of the traffic graphs that I tried to configure.
Has anyone see this behavior before? Any clues where I should look next.
The product looks great, thanks,
Mark
