Creating Reportit Templates

I've just installed Reportit v0.6.0 on my Cacti v0.8.7b system, along with the plugin Architecture v1.4. When I attempt to create a Report Template, I don't get the links in the upper right hand of the screen and the template isn't saved. What am I doing wrong?

i have the same problem.

seems in the setup.php some varchars have a limit set at 2500 which is too big for mysql. i've changed all mine to be 250, re-run a save on the settings page, and now all's working.

can someone let me know if my actions will suffice?

Yes, that's the point. To run it without any changes it's necessary to use a version of MySQL that is 5.0.3 or higher, which will support varchars with more than 255 chars. I know that is wrong in the README file.
I would prefer to change them to "text" instead of decreasing the number of chairs. But another user escalated an issue with my poller_bottom_function which seem's not work with older versions of MySQL too. Unfortunately I have no older versions running, so that I'm currently unable to figure it out.

I am able to successfully enter and save a Report Template. However, now when I attempt to create a Report Configuration, I get a screen without buttons or links (see attachment). What am I doing wrong?

You'll have to check if all tables are complete. My read is, that there are some columns missing after your first try failed.
If it's only a test server then use the uninstall procedure to remove all the tables. After you've customized the table definitions they should be reinstalled completely.
