FireFox 3 Beta

Post by badandye »

This exact error happens for me on win XP sp2 (fully upadted) while using FireFox 3 Beta-1... I tried using IE7 after many failed attempts at trouble-shooting, and IE7, IE6, FF2,Opera8-9,NetScape, and Safari all worked properly.

Error: Passwords do not match, please retype.
It's FF3 as far as I can tell...
Again all the same task's work in all other browsers I've tried, it's just FF3 that is having the issue. IE7 BTW throws this error for me:

Line 580: Not Implimented

-->window.onload = changeHostForm(); <-- (host.php)

I ran into this problem w/ Camino 1.5.4 on MacOSX 10.4.11 as soon as I stored the username/password for Cacti in the keychain.
I resolved the issue by removing the entry for my Cacti server from the keychain.

My server is running Cacti 0.8.7a on OpenBSD 4.2.

I'm seeing the same issue on Firefox 3.0 b4, works fine on Safari 3.1. Cacti 0.8.7b on CentOS 5.1.

I'm seeing it now in FF3.0 RC1. Has anyone figured out how to resolve this or is it something we'll have to wait on the Firefox devs to fix?

FF 3 / OSX

Was running into this too, deleting the saved password for the cacti install in Firefox helped. Go to preferences->Security->saved passwords and get rid of it, then logout and log back in (don't save password).

In the meantime, since I have the ietab plugin for firefox, I just click on it when I need to add a device and then click back to firefox. You can download it here: http://ietab.mozdev.org/.
