Database corrupted

Post by gherdo »

I don't know when or why but my database is corrupted now.

cacti 0.8.7b, spine 0.8.7b, thold plugin.

Graph problem, NaN or so.

Now I found that templating system is also corrupted.

My UCD/NET snmp host template for example is using wrong data sources.

Is out there a script or something to restore cacti internals?

I have 500 hosts and I fear to loose em all.

thank you for your advice.

First, use the cli script to repair tables. If this does not help, you may want to re-install pristine cacti tables from cacti.sql. This will only affect cacti templates. PLEASE TRY FIRST ON A NON-PRODUCTIVE SYSTEM. No warranty, I never tried that!
If searching for a mysql backup procedure, please see http:/docs.cacti.net
