Monitor a 3com switch and/or Netscreen Juniper SSG5 VPN/firewall to see which port is consuming the most bandwidth using which protocol(s) to what dest and from what src IP/port/mac ?

This is a netflow/flowviewer/sflow/ipfilter problem. There's a plugin for one of them, don't remember exactly which one.
Or use NTOP as a standalone app
