Initial Install Blank Pages

Post by celsodalm »

Hello all, forgive me since this is my first Cacti install. I've followed the install instructions line by line for all of the PHP, MYSQL, APACHE, NETSNMP, RRDTOOL, etc. When I dump my cacti files into the root of my apache (/var/www/html) all I get are blank pages with every web request. If I type http://hostname/index.php into my browser it will bring up the index page, but every click to the links returns a blank white page. Any help would be great, thanks!

Please search for the PHP_SELF in the General forum. There's a solution!

Gandalf hi, I checked out that post, and I've got the modules loaded, and also I did the test with the php page and that came out as well.. Let me know if you have any other ideas. Thanks!

HI everyone.

I'm also a newbie with cacti installation and have face a similar problem when loading it for the first time. I've all the programs installed, including PHP and I have also dump the cacti folder to (/var/www/html) but, I still get a blank page when I try to load cacti (http://localhost/cacti).

which modules do i need to load on PHP for Cacti?

Thanks in advance...

Thanks.. After double checking my configs and viewing apache log file. Found a mismatching password between cactidb database and include/config.php. Now it works.
