DST ended, now graphs have gaps and large values in them

Post by evilzardoz »

Hi,

I'm running cacti 0.8.6h +rrdtool 1.0.50. We've just had DST end and have noticed a one hour gap betwee 2am and the second 2am time, and at 3am, we have a very large traffic spike on all our graphs.

Is there an explanation for this - and is there a way to somehow remove this spike from the RRDs?

thanks

There's a forum entry for timzone stuff. And there's a removespikes.pl spike killer available in the contrib section at the main rrdtool site

Hi,

Thanks for pointing this script out however it is unable to correctly identify thepeaks in my graphs. Has anybody here had experience with this script and is able to shed some light on how it's best used for this?

The graphs that exhibit the peaks are the weekly, monthly and yearly graphs.
