Hi. It looks like npc and monitor plugin are using the same realm of 32. I found the list of known realms at http://cactiusers.org/wiki/PluginRealms

There its says "contact us" to keep the list up to date but I dont see a way to contact anyone there. It looks like 90+ is free as per that list so if some one from cactiuser.org could reserve realms 90-93 for NPC I wold appreciate it and will move npc off of 32.

Cheers,
Billy

Yea, e-mail Jimmy and he will take care of it for you. In PIA 2.x, realms should be able to be autoassigned. He can explain more on that.

I just edited the wiki page and added myself in. It's wiki, after all.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Didn't realise it was a wiki :) But if 2.1 supports auto assignment then I need to look into that. Thanks for the tips...

Registered but can't for the life of me figure out how to edit pages - I guess I don't have the right permissions ?!

That was my experience as well. It's not an "anyone can edit" wiki which makes sense.

I ended up fully implementing the PA 2.x features so an assigned realm is not an issue now. However, the realm id's that are assigned by the PA start auto-incrementing at 1. I simply added 100 to my auto assigned realm id (copied from manage) to make it not conflict. We should probably set aside a large chunk of id's that can not be used by the legacy PA so to prevent realm conflicts between 1.x and 2.x.

Cheers,
Billy
