Sensors re-appearing after being deleted.
Running CactiEZ 0.4
I have several switches, that I only wanted to monitor 2 or 3 ports on each.
When i go to device-sensors, and delete all the sensors I do not want to monitor, shortly after they re-appear in the device-sensor list again.
I have some that are messed up such as Host 19 DS 2045 and 2050.
I have deleted them 3 times now, and they continue to come back.

gandalf,
That was no checked, BUT I do not want ALL up interfaces to be created.
Last night I deleted ALL the sensors for the switch, then created graphs for the device.
At that time, I only checked the sensors I wanted to appear or graph.
Then made the connection in my weathermap.
Next morning, the weathermap link was grey, with no data.
AND, all the sensors that were up were active in the data sources page.
If I create a graph for a sensor, I do not need it to delete the next day, or create more sensors.
Any ideas.

gandalf,
I may have the reason they are getting lost.
First the switch we are monitoring is a new DELL 3448.
All of the other switches are DELL 5324. None of the 5324 seem to be loosing graphs.
I looked at the device and clicked create graphs, the one that is disappearing was in a down state, according to Cacti, but when I look in the switch with the webinterface or telnet, the link is up at 1GIG.
So, is there something I need to do for the new switches, and now we ordered a newer DELL 5448 switch, what problems am I setting myself up for.?

Even if I never used a Dell Switch, the support for the interface MIB is THAT kind of BASIC, that I cannot assume that the Dell device will permanently fail. Perhaps it is a configuratio issue only.
You may try running an snmpwalk against this switch, asking for "interface" instead of giving a single OID. This is what cacti does to discover the interfaces (more or less)
