Problem Installing - Error 500 - Internal server error

Hey guys im wondering what can cause this error. I have my db setup correctly with correct php version running on a Linux box. I did not install RDP Tool yet, do I have to to get past the first step of the installation ?

I get this error when I browse to teh main cacti directory or the install directory:

Error 500 - Internal server error
An internal server error has occured!
Please try again later.

I know how to read instructions and I followed them all thats why I posted here is for support.

Did you change httpd.conf? What shows up in error_log? Did you already create the cacti database?

Hi, I am trying to install cacti and i recibe error 500.

The apache/php log error throw this message. Cannot redeclare exec_poll() (previously declared in /var/www/cacti/lib/poller.php:28) in /var/www/cacti/lib/poller.php on line 52. Can help?

I am assuming that you have downloaded 1.2 Beta 2? If so, please download the latest develop version as this has since been corrected.

yes, thanks. I did a git checkout to master branch and i had no problem.

Develop is the latest code, master is wayyyy behind which is 1.1.34
