Any chance you can update with a new .pl files and xml to reflect the changes MIBS from Moto
If I only had access to such a devicem it would be a quite simple task. FInd some help at the first link of my sig. And if I remember correctly, I did a similar thing for one of my customers lately ...

If I could get you an 8.2.2 SM would you be able to create new PL's for it?

With 8.2.2, I've got them up and running, except for AP gpsStatus and Reg Count. Both are no longer available from the 8.2.2 device I had access to, even if the MIB still shows them. But even the WebInterface does not report this data.

Two graph templates require changes (remove --y-grid value as already mentioned above). Will post to the original thread at http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?p=16038#16038

Yes the AP Regcount and AP gps status are only available on Access Points. I do have an access point handy that I may be able to get you as well but it'll be a bit. In the meantime I thank you muchly for everything to get this working in 8.2.2. I'm sure this will be invaluable to many canopy operators.

I'm getting the following error when trying to import the XML.

"Error: XML: Hash version does not exist."

What can I do to resolve this?

Exports where done with 087b.
But it's simple:
Visit the Graph Templates:
- Motorola Canopy - SM - Power Level (dBm)
- Motorola Canopy - SM - RSSI
and erase the "1" at Unit Grid Value (--unit/--y-grid); save
That's all

Oh that's easy enough. Thank you.

Edit: That works for RSSI but power level it doesn't work.

The Canopy SM.

I am having an isue with graphing the dbm, tempature, and session status. The RSSI and jitter work correctly with no issues. I get an error in my log file (posted at the bottom)

A little back ground, we had an old machine doing all of our polling, but after a year of adding SMs' it was too much for the machine. So a new machine, installed the newest cacti 0.8.7b. Downloaded the newest canopy XML from this thread, installed. Then copied over all of the subscriber modules. All went well. I just have an issue with graphing.

We are using 0.8.7b with spine

Basically I get this in my Log

Code: Select all

I have run in the termial

Code: Select all

perl /var/www/html/cacti/scripts/getCanopySmStats.pl 169.254.3.63 Canopy ethStatus
and it does return a proper value.

We have about 170 Subsciber modules that have this problem with graphing. So if anyone can help Please I would be more than appreciative.

Thanks for the help
