Hard Return in Title?

Post by sspyrison »

Hello there,

I've been trying different methods of getting a hard return or newline character into the title field.

Does anyone know if this is a possibility?

Thanks!

I tested several methods with 1.2.23 and could not find a solution.
Tried; \n, \0x0013, \0x013,
all to no avail...anyone else?

If your graph title too lang, you can go to SETTING-->Maximum Title Length and increase the default value. It helps :)

On the same vein, changing to a narrower font for titles helped me. Now I have DejaVuSansCondensed for my titles, and no problem with 128 character graph titles. I think they look nicer too :-)
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
