returned from DOWN state lies

I'm using cacti 0.8.7b, spine 0.8.7b and the latest thold plugin.

I receive notification(every 5 mins) regarding hosts returned from the DOWN state. I do not receive "host is down", only "returned from the down state".

Can you help me to debug this?

I think it is something related to thold_update_host_status() but I cannot understand why.
