Cactiez polling problem

Post by cmoore »

Hi,
I recently downloaded and installed Cactiez .3 and am having what I suppose is a basic problem.
My environment is:
Running Cactiez v.3 from the ISO
everything is the default (beyond password changes).
The operating system is running in a Microsoft virtual server environment.
I changed the SNMP string to one we use at my company and then added a couple test machines.

Problem:
The test machines are discovered and are showing as 'UP' and while it returns info for the network interfaces it is not showing anything for the SNMP values on partitions, memory, or CPU.

I've run the SNMP Walk tool with the OID of: 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1 (taken from trying to search the problems I'm having) and it returns a variety of stats, but at the beginning it shows the following info:

Warning: Missing argument 9 for cacti_snmp_walk(), called in /var/www/html/plugins/tools/tools.php on line 120 and defined in /var/www/html/lib/snmp.php on line 225

Warning: Missing argument 10 for cacti_snmp_walk(), called in /var/www/html/plugins/tools/tools.php on line 120 and defined in /var/www/html/lib/snmp.php on line 225

Again, I've left the install settings at the default except for changing the SNMP string and I have not done anything to the clients. Is there wrong with the php files that needs to be fixed? Do I need to do anything to the clients beyond making sure Cactiez is allowed to query SNMP? I appreciate any help. Thanks.

**Note I've had Cacti running on a Windows server and have been able to successfully query SNMP.

Linux problems belong in the linux forum, moving.

Apparently there is something wrong with the included Tools plugin.
