Bandwith Graph Not Exact ..

Hi .

I have Version 0.8.6j on Gentoo .

I put 2 Graphs .
Bits and Bytes .
Only One Network Card .

I do a WGET on server .
Speed is 10 MBytes / sec.

I check cacti and i don't see that .

Graph show me :

2 MBytes /sec
15 mbits / sec .

Where does i mistake ??

How long did your download take? Cacti averages over 5 minutes.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

You mean that i need to make a test with a download over 5 min to see exact bw ?
Cause the average provide me those result ?

I will try to find such dl.

RRDTool does the actual averaging of the data which is collected.

turn the cacti logging level to medium for a polling cycle, then look to see what data it's returning for the web stats.

Medium will not fill too many space on hdd ?
there is a warning in the setup ..
