It is very Difficult to install Cacti

Just sayin.

Tryin to yum install on Fedora Core 6 and paths are nearly all wrong in how-to docs. But this is typical in the Linux world I know. Every install is unique, and too many versions of Linux out there which makes it very difficult to keep any docs up-to-date.

Hello.

don't use a packets manager for installing cacti... this will more difficult after for manage cacti and add plugins....

The best way is you dowload the cacti.tar.gz folder and you make a manual installation and with this way, it's very more easy.

have luck

I agree about the difficult part, but I had issues even with the tar ball. Couldn't get it working for a while. It was patches and other cofiguration issues.
