alert with thold

Post by pyth »

Hello everyone,

I have installed thold and let the basic configurations. It works well because I have effectuated a warning test on a host. But I wish now that when certain threshold are exceeded there is a return mail alerting (and why not thereafter via sms).

So I would like to know if ever there was a doc on this plugin, or if you could give me more informations, I suppose that if there is a Sends mail must setup other tools.

I make a small step backwards, when I have installed the plugin architecture, normally the config.php file should have been changing, and I submit the information about my database ... Yet it was precisely the same file by that before. So with regard a line that looks like this
$plugins = array(); ===> nothing, so i have added by hand, is it normal ?

ps : this time fmangeant i have searched :) , but nothing on a thold manual

You can either use DNS resolution to send mails, or forward them to a SMTP relay, it's up to you.

yes you have right peecee, but the network administrator is in holidays so i try , but not on the enterprise network.
It is just to move forward and exploit opportunities, later I would ask him permission.
