snmp index change?????

Post by SvAdmin_jp »

I'd like to make a graph of index2,3,4 like a picture,
when a Create button is pressed including a check in a check box,
for some reason, it's index160,161,162.
How can a graph normally be made?

OS:CentOS 5
Cacti 0.8.7b
spine 0.8.7b

Code: Select all

That's a bit strange. The output repeats the values for index 2,3,4 at 160,161,162. Which type of device is this?

Excuse me, it became late that it's written.
This device is a router.
I think that I can normally make a graph at tried place and Cacti ver0.8.6i.

Is index 160 (lan0), 161 (lan1) and 162(lan2) different from index 2(LAN0), index 3(LAN1) and index 4 (LAN2) ?

Did you manually create the logical lan0-2 things in the router? The fact report the same MAC addresses as another set of Indexes, makes me think they're the same...

I'm not creating logical lan0-2.
Manually, I should be able to change the one cacti made in index 160 to index 2 class....

Possibly.

Does that router consider LAN0-2 the same as lan0-2?

The router has only seven ports.
There is a possibility that a virtual port is internally built
possibly.
However, it is only LAN0-2 to be able to acquire data.
