OK, I know this has been brought up before, and I'm PRETTY sure I used to be able to get Thold to report on % disk space free when it went under 10% or utilised went above 90%.
And I know how to use CDEFs and have no problem graphing %used...
But....
I've installed .8.7a at a new site, with all the plugins (actually installed CactiEZ and then upgraded to .8.7a and then reinstalled Plugin architecture....)
Then I've added a host, and the first thing I need to monitor is if Disk space goes below 10% free... So I go to Threshold, create template that alerts if utilisation goes about 90% and viola, or so I think.. (using the hdd_percent data source).
Only to find that the hdd_percent data source is no longer filled with the correct data - it appears to get just teh hdd_used data instead....
Now.... I've searched and found an ugly solution to this, but there must be a more elegant way to do it....
Please....

Re: HDD_Percent - and Thresholds -- HAYELP!!
This is because the CACTIEZ makes adjusted the script manually -> when you copied the files of the newer version over the existing. you replaced the adjusted version.argon0 wrote:OK, I know this has been brought up before, and I'm PRETTY sure I used to be able to get Thold to report on % disk space free when it went under 10% or utilised went above 90%.

I will face the same problem when i upgrade to the new version very soon. I manually adjusted the the scrip myself not so long ago (http://forums.cacti.net/about25376.html&highlight=) but i am sure it will not work under the new version.
after u adjusted this to work with the new version i will post this again.
(next thime befor you upgrade export the template and script first)
