Outbound data source lost after midify graph template

Post by copo »

Hi,

I have tried to modified the graph template of the interface traffic which I have a few thousands of graphs use this graph template, to try to include peak usage information just like what MRTG does. But after I have add another graph item, I discover that all of the outbound data source of every graph lost. I have tried to re-apply the graph template but not success. The data source still get update every polling interval, but I have to choose the outbound data source manually for each graph in order to have the graphs to be display correctly.

I still have a few thousands of graphs does not display correctly, is there any way to solve this problem ?

I should have duplicate the graph template before making changes

Regards,

To temporary resolve this issue, I'm correcting every single graph one-by-one to set the Outbound data source to have the graph display correct again. But there is still thousands of graphs to go. Is that possible to have the graphs to be corrected in batch ? Thanks!

I'm not that used to the db structure of cacti. I would try to fix my own database; but it's not fun to fuzz with someone's database out there. So I've asked Larry to drop in.

Looking at your screenshot, I can not be certain what you did. I would have to look at it further. (aka Dump).
