Export device list configuration

Post by mediastream »

Is there a way, via a SQL query or something or any other means where you can export to a file all your devices and their related properties that are displayed on a device's device configuration screen (status, description, name, community, snmp version, etc)?

The end goal is basically to do an audit or comparison against a list of devices that we want to monitor to ensure that they are in Cacti. In addition we want to classify devices by SNMP version, community, status, name, etc.

Hi

take a look at the "host" table : you'll find the hostname (or IP address), SNMP community + version + timeout, etc.

Export Device List Configuration

Post by hkriel »

The thing that is needed is the sql join query to capture the list of host, data source, graphs, and thresholds. People I deal with want to be able to validate what is being monitored and what is being tested for threshold without having to walk through the screens.

It would be a nice feature in the "Export" section...
