I have a fully working Cacti server using BSOD2600's latest version of the installer. Everything is good except I have had to look at swaping to Spine as my monitored devices are growing and so is the poller time.
I have not made any further changes apart from changing from poller from cmd.php to Spine but now the poller dosn't finish, I have to stop the scheduled task.
I have set the poller logging level to debug but don't get any errors as such, the following is a very small output:
Could someone point me in the right direction for fault finding this?
Thanks

Did you install the plugin arch and/or the weather map plugin per chance? If so, it's issues with those...

Ahhh, sorry didn't see posts on those issues. Yeah I have both the plugin arch and Weathermap installed.
Is there any workaround or any idea when there maybe a fix?
Thanks.

Not sure, but it's not a problem with the installer (which is what this thread is intended for).
Please post the details of your problem in the weathermap forum.

I've follow the Beta windows installer and the post installation, I am not sure where to go from here... how do I get Cacti up, what do I do next to get it working and showing graphs, I have MRTG running on the same server I installed cacti on.
Also I am getting this message keeps popping up:
php C:\Winnt\System32\MsTask.exe
php Cactiplus
All php prompts...
Thanks.

Read my FAQ.
You're getting those because you're using the same windows account for the scheduled task, that you're currently logged into windows with.

Okay I saw that... I'll have to wait until I finished all configurations before I can remove it from popping up every 5 minutes. But I still need help on this:

cfybyair: did you leave your antivirus running while installing? The ntfs permissions are not set correctly. Read my installation guide, making sure the file/folder permissions are set correctly.

w3wp.exe running @100%
I recently Lost a hard drive, and lost my previous Cacti install, so I decided to try running this installer for windows, btw BSOD2600 this installer works excellently & Does what it says it will do. You have done a very nice job!!! My issue is that when I run cacti it is fine until I try to click on a graph and get info my proc start screaming and running at 100%, any ideas? If not i will reinstall. One other question how would I go about uninstalling this? so I can reinstall.

Did you look in task manager what processes are using all the time? It's normal for rrdtool to spike the cpu (on slower computers) for a little bit.
The uninstaller for the cacti installer should work just fine... Or manually remove the pieces.joex51 wrote:One other question how would I go about uninstalling this? so I can reinstall.
