Possible bug or working as designed?
A non-admin user with *no* Superlinks (v0.71) realm permissions still sees a "console" entry (when that link is allowed by anyone). When the console entry is clicked on, the user does get the generic "Access Denied". Granted this "possible bug" is more cosmetic in nature.
The same user (correctly) does not see a "toptab" entry.
Thanks Howie for a VERY useful plugin.

I don't get that. I just created a CONSOLE page, then removed all access for the page, and it disappeared from the menu just fine...
Did I understand the problem correctly?

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

OK.. I was trying with Superlink management denied but Cacti allowed. Now I see.noflies wrote:Create a console page, then within superlinks management allow "anyone", but then in Cacti's "User Management" remove all superlinks realm permissions for that user.
Should that user "see" the conosle link?
You don't get different results for console and toptab functionality?
That's fixed now. I have a collection of tweaks for 0.71 now, so I guess I should put out 0.72...
