[SOLVED] public access to cacti

Post by bilbus »

Is there a way to permit public access to cacti without requiring a login?

Change the default webpage for /cacti/ to graph_view.php.

In 0.8.6 a guest user was automatically granted access. In 0.8.7, you must explicitly grant guess access.

Also, close your browser or use another browser (Safari, Firefox, IE, Opera, etc) to test guest access.

Did you check your guest user setting in Authentication Settings?

I did not even see that. I enabled it and still get "ACCESS DENIED" on tree mode.

I can view graphs using preview mode

Make sure you have the default policy for trees set correctly on the guest users graph permissions.

looks like i was denying access by adding trees. I thought i was allowing access.

That screen is a bit confusing.
