Why not ?

1. Not need scheduler and cron.
2. Not flud Event Log in Windows with any events.(Logon/Logoff every minute and other)

Possibly because that'd require an additional program for the devs to write/maintain. The current method of scheduled task / cron works fine, IMO.

If you wrote something, I'm sure they'd consider using it...
