Mikrotik signal graph also for multiple clients using SNMP

Post by marlow »

Hi,

I've revised Mojiro's templates and written a new backend script, that allows for client, ap-bridge with single and multiple clients, all queried via SNMP.

It deals with changing OID's, data is queried based on BSSID.

The documentation and templates/scripts can be found here:
http://doc.thewan.net/wiki/index.php/De ... using_SNMP

I've tested ths.... and I have a problem...

I have cacti-0.8.7a installed on my server...

SNMP - Interface Statistics works
but
Mikrotik - Queue Tree
Mikrotik - Get Wireless Interfaces (MAC based)
dosent works

I get this

+ Running data query [10].
+ Found type = '4 '[script query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/cacti/resource/script_server/mikrotik_wireless_interfaces.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing script for list of indexes '/usr/bin/php4 -q /var/cacti/scripts/mikrotik_wireless_interfaces.php public 10.20.30.50 index'
+ Executing script query '/usr/bin/php4 -q /var/cacti/scripts/mikrotik_wireless_interfaces.php public 10.20.30.50 query cmac'
+ Executing script query '/usr/bin/php4 -q /var/cacti/scripts/mikrotik_wireless_interfaces.php public 10.20.30.50 query name'
+ Executing script query '/usr/bin/php4 -q /var/cacti/scripts/mikrotik_wireless_interfaces.php public 10.20.30.50 query int'
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/cacti/resource/script_server/mikrotik_wireless_interfaces.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/cacti/resource/script_server/mikrotik_wireless_interfaces.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/cacti/resource/script_server/mikrotik_wireless_interfaces.xml'

from Mikrotik - Get Wireless Interfaces (MAC based) Debugging

what to do?

From what you're posting, there is no problem. In what sense does it not work ?

Indeed

There seem for some things missing at the php script.

Some includes (where to find snmpwalk)
Some caveats (argv instead of "argv")
Possibly the use of _SERVER instead of GLOBALS

Tried it but couldn't make it work.

Redhat / CentOS

Hello,

I too saw the problem of the interfaces not printing out. I then tried to run the command manually, and found that on my CentOS 5 installation, the php4 command is wrong.

I changed the direct path of /usr/bin/php4 to just php in the script located in the resource directory, and the data now flows for me.
