Problem with HDD RRDs after Upgrade to 0.8.7a

Post by scripty »

HI,

I've already read a few topics about this case but none solved my problem.

After upgrading from cacti 0.8.6j to 0.8.7a I get the following error message:

Code: Select all

01/02/2008 12:26:02 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] WARNING: Poller Output Table not Empty. Potential Data Source Issues for Data Sources: hdd_total(DS[771]), hdd_used(DS[771]), hdd_total(DS[773]), hdd_used(DS[773]), hdd_total(DS[775]), hdd_used(DS[775]), hdd_total(DS[782]), hdd_used(DS[782]), hdd_total(DS[787]), hdd_used(DS[787]), hdd_total(DS[793]), hdd_used(DS[793]), hdd_total(DS[794]), hdd_used(DS[794]), hdd_total(DS[795]), hdd_used(DS[795]), hdd_total(DS[798]), hdd_used(DS[798]), hdd_total(DS[799]), hdd_used(DS[799]), hdd_total(DS[803]), hdd_used(DS[803]), hdd_total(DS[812]), hdd_used(DS[812]), hdd_total(DS[813]), hdd_used(DS[813]), hdd_total(DS[814]), hdd_used(DS[814]), hdd_total(DS[815]), hdd_used(DS[815]), hdd_total(DS[816]), hdd_used(DS[816]), hdd_total(DS[817]), hdd_used(DS[817]), hdd_total(DS[818]), hdd_used(DS[818]), hdd_total(DS[819]), hdd_used(DS[819]), hdd_total(DS[820]), hdd_used(DS[820]), hdd_total(DS[821]), hdd_used(DS[821]), hdd_total(DS[822]), hdd_used(DS[822]), hdd_total(DS[823]), hdd_used(DS[823]), hdd_total(DS[825]), hdd_used(DS[825]), hdd_total(DS[827]), hdd_used(DS[827]), hdd_total(DS[828]), hdd_used(DS[828]), hdd_total(DS[829]), hdd_used(DS[829]), hdd_total(DS[831]), hdd_used(DS[831]), hdd_total(DS[838]), hdd_used(DS[838]), hdd_total(DS[845]), hdd_used(DS[845]), hdd_total(DS[846]), hdd_used(DS[846]), hdd_total(DS[856]), hdd_used(DS[856]), hdd_total(DS[857]), hdd_used(DS[857]), hdd_total(DS[868]), hdd_used(DS[868]), hdd_total(DS[869]), hdd_used(DS[869]), hdd_total(DS[872]), hdd_used(DS[872]), hdd_total(DS[873]), hdd_used(DS[873]), hdd_total(DS[874]), hdd_used(DS[874])
I get this message every Poller Interval (which is 1min while cron is every 5min)

The warning is a new feature in 087. It tells you, if it still finds data in the poller_output table AFTER a poll. This should not occur. If it occurs, it's very likely that somethings going wrong. You may get help from second link of my signature. While this was not written to help in exactly this case, it holds a bunch of debugging hints
