Verify ntfs permissions are correct on that file and other cacti files; i.e. IUSR and IIS_WPG accounts have read/execute rights.

BSOD2600,
Thanks for the help. I have completely rebuilt the machine and I have a win2k3 sp2 box with your installer loaded. I had problems when testing PHP so I backreved the MySQL.dll file as this was what I did with the earlier installation. It seems to get squirrley every time it needs to do an intensive read operation or build graphs or rrd files.
Have you had any reports or issues with PHP and your installer or am I on the wrong track?

TIA,

Why are you mixing different versions of mysql files? Thats bad practice in general.

What exactly does that mean? Details please.

You might want to increase the number of connections in your my.ini file.
