After copying that file into cacti directory, I am no longer receiving the messages.

Thanks!

Give it a whirl. If it works for you, I will have Ian issue a patch.

BTW, I did not have this warning anymore since upgrading to cactid 0.8.6i (as my poller is always running in 2 minutes instead of 5+).

It's working fine, I don't get the new ""ERROR: Input Expected, Script Server Terminating" message.

Hello.
I'm a long time user, first time poster...

First let me say how much I love this software and appriciate all of the hard work all the devs do.

I finally got around to updating to 0.8.6i (it was the security notice that finally broke my inertia loose) and experienced the same warnings in my log that are detailed in this thread:

Code: Select all

01/17/2007 04:15:09 PM - PHPSVR: Poller[0] WARNING: PHP Script File to be included, does not exist
01/17/2007 04:15:09 PM - PHPSVR: Poller[0] WARNING: Function does not exist
I applied the official patches - no change.

I downloaded and replaced TheWitness' updated script_server.php posted to this thread on Nov 28, 2006 - that worked like a charm.

I'm just documenting my experience pertaining to this issue.

Again, thank you so much,
Andrew

You the script in question is likely not readable by the poller or missing.

Thanks for the product...I am a newbie, about a month.

Looks like the Canopy template and/or script needs updating for 0.8.7. You might want to Google that.

Please, next time, open a new thread. This one was quite old.
