Just curious, does anyone know for a fact if stacks of 3750's work? I added two stand alone 3750's and reporting looks to be ok. I added two stacks and neither of them I get anything useful out of? So on the surface it looks as though there is an issue with support for stacking?
Cacti 0.8.7a
Mactrack 1.1
Just wanted to find out what the general consensus is so I know if I'd be wasting my time trying to get stacks to work with the current mactrack
I still need the SysDescription even though the Object ID matches and it is definitely performing the right scanning function (as witnessed when I run a manual scan)?
Like I said, some of the 3750s work and others don't, and the switches are all identical right down to the IOS version. I even blew away the mactrack plugin alltogether including database tables, and started from scratch. At first they were all working and now there are a handful of 3750s that don't return any macs. I just haven't had the time to dig in deeper.

If I remember correctly, a 3750G gives a different object ID if it's a stack member to if it's a standalone switch... I had similar problems with NeDi as a result of this.
i'm running C3750-IPBASEK9 and its not stacked.
In the script is definitly see it catching all the mac's etc but it doesnt reflect in mactrack. Just finds 0 ports but funny enough it shows me i have 1 trunk which i added to ignore. (no diff if i remove it from ignore)
I got the same config but no mactrack info.
*edit - for debug output attached, which is slightly edited.
I can provide info for a 4x stack as well
*edit - 4506's (IOS) have stopped working as well
*edit - redid the sql imports for the database and ran the database_upgrade again.
Now everything is working 100's
So awesome.. tx for this plugin!

In the gui it shows trunk ports but no user ports or mac addresses.
charles, import that .sql file again and do a database_upgrade.
it doesnt over write the data but it did help...
although currently i moved this machine to another spec machine SunSparc Linux to an intel Ubuntu and mac track isnt working for half of my devices.. .
i hope we can squash this problem with v2.0, im very excited TheWitness
