Images not displaying...

Hi,

Can anybody help with this error?...

Notice: Undefined variable: fp in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\lib\rrd.php on line 86

Notice: Undefined variable: fp in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\lib\rrd.php on line 87

I am just getting a page full of this error until the script times out, for all images, eg http://server.com/cacti/graph.php?local ... ource=true

This is running on W2k with IIS which PHP in cgi mode

Any suggestinos are most welcome!

a guess: he cannot find rrdtool.exe or he has no privileges to run a dos command. Try to make shure that cacti has te right pad to rrdtool and that IIS is given an administrator account because otherwise he is not allowed to call dos commands (which that fgets() or popen() is doing)

Thanks for you suggestions - I did that but it did not make any difference, I don;t particularly like give these sorts of rights to and internet account though I think I may install it on a Linux box instead

you can make a special account for it, with just the rights needed. Or a local admin on that PC...

But didn't solve the problem?
