0.8.5 and 95th max function not working :-(

Post by Guest »

Guys,

I'm sorry but I've searched the forum back and forth and I know this has probably been answered but I just can't find it. I've been trying to get 95th% working for months and I see 8.5 had the max function added so I was all excited and thought it would be straightforward but I'm appearantly missing something.

Here's what I did. I edited the 95th percentile graph template and changed

#11 (|95:bits:6:total:2| mbit in+out)
to
(|95:bits:6:max:2| mbit in+out)

Saved the template and went to load a graph to see my new comment and I get no graph. when I click view source I get:

ERROR: no rrdtool fetch output, you probably forgot to pass a valid data source

/usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool graph - \

I change it back and all is well again. I'm not sure what's up so any help is most appreciated.

Thanks,
Jess

I'm having the exact same issue!

I can't believe that something so simple just doesn't work.
I hope that someone can help with this issue. I told my boss that Cacti was able to do this "Easily".

Thanks for the help, in advance!

I am having this problem as well...why would you include a new feature that doesn't work?
I know it's free, and it also kicks butt, but dude, c'mon ;-)
