Error monitoring windows

Post by mbaki »

Hi,

I'm trying to monitor a Windows Box using cacti-0.8.7a on fedora 7. I fill in the IP address, Windows 2000/XP template, use ping as the device detection and for SNMP choose not in use. Once I click create the following error pops up:

Notice: Undefined variable: snmp_auth in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/cacti/lib/snmp.php on line 317

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/cacti/lib/snmp.php:317) in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/cacti/host.php on line 164.

I click on devices and the server is in "unknown" state.

Also, if I use ICMP ping in devices top of page I get the error:

Warning: socket_create() [function.socket-create]: Unable to create socket[1]: Operation not permitted in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/cacti/lib/ping.php on line 148

Warning: socket_set_block() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/cacti/lib/ping.php on line 150

Thank you
